The crossword puzzle contains a whimsical three-word phrase with missing letters.
Each word has a somewhat cryptic clue.
The letters in the crossword use patterns (v)owel or (#) value as clues.
Drag and drop the letters into the crossword to visualize and decode the words. These words, when correctly combined, map into a ///what3words location somewhere on the planet. Decode the three words and order them into a logical phrase. Enter the phrase and explore the map that will appear. The map contains grid cells, each tied into a three-word location. Artifacts, as words, will be found nearby, in adjacent cells. 
When you zoom deep into a what3words map, you will see a grid of boxes. The current box location is displayed at the top. In this case it is ///scavenger.hunt.game, while surrounding boxes also are named. When looking for an artifact, tap the adjacent boxes. Anyone of the three words could be an artifact. Enter the word (name of artifact) to verify what you found. The artifact will be added to your artifact collection. To find a landmark, zoom out the map. It will not be far away. Landmarks includes the names of towns and landforms.
